Well its kinda against the rules here to have a "main" feeder. On the other hand my first veiled lasted 6 years on just one fuzy a week.
My guys diet is dubia,super worms, and some type of caterpillar. Last 2 months was horn worms. Next 2 months will be silk worms. Im blessed with 2 mulberry bushes behind my work, so if it works out it will be cheap food for summer.
Dubia are excellent with the easy gut load. If you dont want to go crickets, the next best thing for gut loading would be super worms(half the shell of meal worms). Another one you could try is phoenix worms. Mine didnt care for the worms, but he loved when they turned into flies.
The whole point of variety is prevent hunger strikes, and for a more well rounded diet since diff feeders eat diff things better.
