My Panther Chameleon died yesterday..Soooo heartbroken. He was 3 1/2 yrs old Blue Panther..His cage was always 80°-85°..with proper UVB and Basking lights..Plus had a misting system that misted 30 seconds at different intervals.
Mt question is I found him laying down on white floor not on his side, but with legs under him. When I picked him up he was lifeless. Does anyone know why he was white? Did I do something wrong..his diet was super worm and crickets plus the expensive horn worms etc every few months.

I'm so sorry for your loss :(

It would be very difficult to pin point a cause unless there is something more obvious that happened. Pictures of his setup and him prior to passing could help but still might be very hard to say. His coloration sounds typical for a deceased panther, they tend to lose their colors and develop white and black spots after passing.

Sorry for your loss, Phylicia :(

Although filling out the "how to ask for help" isn't going to bring him back, it might help us understand why he took a turn for the worse. Did you notice any change in behavior prior to his death? He made it to 3.5 years old, so there is no doubt that you took proper care for him.
