We are finally done with the recording. Mixing took a little longer than planed (of course:rolleyes:) but its done. Personally I am about 90 to 95% happy with it. I am very critical about my guitar playing and the bands I have been and are in. If its not 110% perfect then I am not 100% happy. This is the best recording I have been apart of and yes I am very proud of it:D We had a short deadline to make so we didnt get to spend as much time on it as we would have liked so there are some things that I cringe when I hear. More than likely you wont be able to, though:p

We have one song up and should have more up later. I will let you know. Please tell me what you think and dont be shy about it!!! I can handle it.

Just click on my sig!

I can't load Myspace while I am at work, but would love to hear it. Guess they think I should be working, and not looking at social networking sites, go figure. Why don't you just toss in a c/d for some filler with the chams you send over. ;) I will try and check it out when I get home.

I can send a CD but it wont have the cover art and all. We are still working on that. Im about to pack up them up here shortly!!!!!!

We will have more songs up soon!!! I cant do it from my comp so Im trying to get the lazy guitar player to upload the rest:eek::mad: Ill keep everyone updated of course!

You guys have a dual vocals? Or is that one man spitting that madness?

Wow, this is spectacular. Seriously. Crustacular even.

Really tight sound, you do lead guitar right? Is that you hitting the solo at the 3 1/2 minute mark and on?

Get some more songs up, this is great stuff.

Wow..... Shreadtacular Jam Cain! It really kicks @**:)

I can't listen to that stuff to often, it makes me wanna do crazy defiant things.... Like leave the toilet seat up..... and not make my bed.....

Hey Chris! Thanks for the KICK A$$ complements!!! Crustacular:D There is only one vocalist. Yes, I do most of the lead work and I do all the ones for that song. The other guitarist is pretty damn good to though! The sweep pattern for that solo at the begining is pretty cool and odd how I constructed it (not your typical arpeggios) but its hard to hear. Like I said it could be a little better if we had more time to mix it but Im happy with it and thats what counts. Not too bad for a bands first 6 songs;)

Im trying to get the other dude to put them up:mad: Hopefully he will get to it tonight. That song is probably my least favorite but everybody elses fav:rolleyes: The rest are jam packed with killer break downs and solos also!!!!!

Jay!! Thanks! I know most people cant handle that type of music but I crave stuff like this ALL DAY LONG!!! Leaving the toilet seat up? Hahah thats great:D Kinda funny too. We have the "men den" in the basement we practice in and above the throne it says LEAVE SEAT UP!!! hahaha

Thanks guys. Ill let you know when the rest are up.

Cain, Where did you guys record? I decided to take the plunge and throw down the loot and do a home studio. I'm running Protools, with several DigiDesigns plug-ins, condensor mics, midi keyboard, Drum programs...etc It's so nice to have all the time you want to mix and edit, instead of craming it all in to a few studio sessions.

We recorded with a guy who is local that doesnt really record anybody anymore. The drummer and bassist are friends with him. He has pretty much what you got. Pro tools with the Digi plugins. I couldnt really break it all down for you Im not to educated about all the technical stuff:eek:. Im not real into a lot of effects either (in my own playing). Me Cain, me plug in, me turn distortion UP!!!!! Me play:rolleyes: Hahaha. I play on a Schecter Hellraiser with a Line 6 Flextone 2 (old school line 6) and a Mesa 4 12 cabinet.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out even though its not your cup of tea. I like to play heavy metal guitar but enjoy lots of other styles of music. If you got some jams I would like to hear them:)

Also, the guy is getting married and is now gone for 1.5 months so yeah, it sucks having to cram everything in a certain time frame. I wish I could get some gear but the economy isnt helping me out too much. And everyone thinks cham gear is expensive.

F'ing Brutality

Jared,

I like the sound of your tunes... nice and crusty. There are a couple things I would tweak in the mix but it sounds awesome! Now I know where DH got his attitude.

See ya,

Todd

Not bad, maybe a little bit on the 'headbanger' side for my taste, But I like it, maybe good for tooltime while your working with "Power tools!!! :D" , Im a Floyd man for life! :)

Got any with good riffs?

Thanks Todd! Hahahaha, I always wondered why all my chams are little bad A$$es:rolleyes: I hope things are going good with you!

Jo, they are all packed with good riffs:p:) Just not floydish riffs;) I like some Floyd too!!! I dont think it would go well to cover one of their songs in our set though:rolleyes: Thanks for the compliment.

T-1000 is up and the others will hopefully be up shortly. Keep checking in.
