reverse osmosis water system

Wondering about getting one of these systems for the mister instead of buying water. Can anyone suggest a good ro system?

I have also used them for many years on my reef tanks, hydroponics, and for drinking water. Water out of the tap comes out at about .300 ppm, water out of a RO is .000. Water General has 6 stage systems for around $150.00.

We have an RO system for our reef tank and I used it for the chameleon's water (mister and drip bottle) and my fighter fish's tank too! if you're a tea drinker, it makes your tea taste SO much better and great for drinking water! I love ours and it's not expensive for the filters, I think like 70 dollars a year? I don't know exactly the name of ours, but I'll post it for you when I can get my husband to answer my text:p

Edit: We got ours from buckeyefieldsupply.com and we got the premium series 75 gallons per day model and the filtration is actually 50 dollars a year to replace and every 3 years the membrane has to be replaced which is 70 dollars depending on how much you use it.

The membrane is what makes it a reverse osmosis system, and the one you linked has one. I don't really see why you need two carbon filters, but they are cheap so it doesn't matter.

Quick question since we are talking about RO systems. Almost every system I have seen looks to be an in-line system that needs to be connected to plumbing. I live in an apartment in the city and am unable to use one of these systems.
Could a MistKing 75PSI pump be strong enough to run water through one of these systems? If so, how would it effect the spray I get or cause the pump to wear out prematurely? Any guidance is appreciated.

Good to know about the carbon filter they have a unit without the extra one and everything so I will probably go with it. :)The one I was looking at they have a video where they hook it up to a utility sink. Not sure if you would need a connector or not for a reg sink as they don't say to much about the unit in the video.

Thanks again everyone

We live in a house and have a hook up from the RO filter to our hose and the hose is just connected and turned on and there is a line that puts out the unclean water and we just put that line into a sink by the washer and dryer. Works for us, but everyone is different!

At AquaZamp (site sponsor BTW) we produce RO and RODI water systems. Even if you have simple needs and want to keep it basic, we do carbon filtration. At the very least you want to get the chlorine and other added chemicals from the city water district, removed.

Our products are made in the USA and components are NSF certified.
