Restless with recent food?

Ozzie isn't eating his crickets at all and he is tired of mealworms and silkworms and flightless fruit flies don't fill him up. He loves house flies but I those are not really a staple. Any suggestions on what I need to order his picky honcho self to keep him happy? No super worms as I don't want him to get bitten LOL?

Ozzie is kinda young to be going on a hunger strike especially if you are offering him a variety of feeders. Are your temps and lighting good? Sometimes that can affect their eating habits. Supers will be ok as long as they are very small because he is small himself.

Thanks Carol, His temp is 82 degrees and his humidity is right at 50%. I just thought it was because I was offering him a variety and that is why he is getting picky?

Well that is a possibility I guess, but he should like one of the things you are offering. Like I said you usually don't see chameleons that young not wanting to eat as their appetites are quite hardy at that age. Are you sure all your food is appropriately sized for him? If it is too large he may not go for it. I she drinking for you?

The crickets are the same size as when I first brought Ozzie home. Small crickets. I have seen him drink so I know he is drinking plus he doesn't look dehydrated. I dunno but he has been favoring his left eye, like he will close it and roll it back into his head and he does not do that with the other eye? I flushed it with eye wash that I read on this forum somewhere to do if they are squinting. I did that a few days ago but he is still squinting like something is in his eye. I saw him rubbing it on a vine so I know its bothering him.

He doesn't have parasites because I took a fresh stool sample into my vet and his stool was negative for any parasites and my vet said he had a healthy looking stool. I just got home from work and I left him about 10 small crickets in his cup and they are still there when I looked just now. I am at a loss

Has anyone ever fed Phoenix Worms? If so can you gut load those and how did your Cham like them? Ozzie seems to only like Mealworms again since all his silkworms have died off he now will only eat the mealworms and will not eat crickets? I need to place an order soon so someone please chime in LOL?

he might like the phoenix worms. They are small and they turn into black soldiier flies which I think your cham might like.

PHEW Thank you Carol! I been waiting on you to post LOL!!! Ok forgot to ask where do I get these Phoenix Worms? I mean I saw them on a website ( Josh's Frogs) but I never seen no one mention if this is a good place to buy from? Also I need them delivered on a friday because I am home then so is this possible?
