Resting oddly

Calvin has started resting weirdly in his basking spot. He sat down like it to poop the other day, that was the first time I'd seen him do his business, but I've noticed that he's restin like it ll the time he's there now. I took a couple photo which I'll upload so anyone could just look and check it's all ok

Looks like he has a spot he likes, I don't see a problem. Chams pick places they like - same as we do. jmo.

Yeah that's what I thought, he just never used to have his back end low n restin on the perch thing so I wanted to check

Also, want to make sure Calvin is a Calvin and not a Carol!!

by looking at the tail and general colouration, id say more of a carol. but then again i have never kept any veiled species so ill let people who have help you out with that

i find whenever my boy has a nice basking spot, he will drop his gulva like yours in the first picture. i dont see anything wrong at all

typical prime resting spot!! pic is really blurry of the back feet, but at that age a dominant sign of tarsal spurs is visible, i can make out a tiny tiny bump, but not clear enough, from the looks id say carol

yeah probably a better pic would help us a bunch it almost looks like a spur but then it could also just be a shadow. so calvin might be carol

I did make another thread actually about bein a calvin or carol which had a couple replies sayin calvin! lol
