Respiratory Infections?

Are they contagious between chameleons if they are kept in nearby cages or if they are housed together?

How are they controlled?

What species of chameleon do you have housed together?

If the respiratory infection is viral it might be able to pass from one cage to the other. If they are housed together IMHO it would be even more possible.

Increasing the cage temperature to the top end of what it should be and giving the chameleon antibiotics should get rid of a respiratory infection...not sure what you mean about controlling it.
