Lol so i went to a LPS i had not been to. They had awesome selection of herps but mostly snakes.

Then i come across the baby veiled cage.. on the floor no less with what looked to be 1 " crickets in there with them. They cant be much bigger than my finger and they have about 5 in there. At this point my rescue reflex kicks in. How much are these i ask..... yeah that's not bad i say ( bit high for veileds ) Then i think to myself, am i ready for my purchase...... newp prob not yet..... ugh must resist...... and i decide to bounce before i take on a "rescue" im not ready for.

I can say a few more visits to shops with chams and i wont be so lucky to get out of there so easily.

But take heart guys your words have a lasting impression to those that listen.

Just FYI if you do decide to purchase in the future, 99% of the time it's cheaper to get a chameleon SHIPPED versus buying in a store.

I suggest Tiki Tiki - and if you are going to the Tuscon show in Sept. (I am), they will be there. So will I! We will probably car pool with someone to make it cheaper.

I am indeed considering going to Tucson, i have been talking to Ryan about meeting up with Tiki Tiki @ the shows. On a side note the phoenix show is on my birthday ill def be going to that. If i have not made a purchase by then ill def do it in november.

And thanks i planned on buying from one of the site sponsors as i so far like this community a lot.

One of the LPS sells veileds for $75 bleh outrageous. But they have to make money too i suppose.
