reptisun 5.0 vs. reptitropical 5.0?? i need help

i figured out i have a recalled r-zilla bulb and i called around looking for a reptisun 5.0 by zoomed because thats all i hear about....i found a reptitropical 5.0 by zoomed is this similar or not?? iama keep calling around

If it is recalled then as your doing get a new bulb. I have the reptisun and love it. I use it for the chams and my beardeds, only brand i'll go with but again it's my opinion and like of the product.

Ya that's what I'm hearing but the pet store I can find with it only has zoomed reptitropical 5.0 do u know the difference i ??

You might be able to go to Zoomed's website and compare the ReptiSun and the Reptitropical light spectrum outputs or if you have a ReptiSun box compare the info on the boxes. I haven't heard of that type before.

I would just order online or buy a reptiglo 5.0 The reptiglo just has to be replaced more frequently.

Lotta people like the 5.0's. If you ever get access to a UV meter check out the amount of UV you lose through the screen. The amount of UV also drops off signifiantly as you get further away from it. For this reason I use all Reptisun 10.0's.
