Reptilite Brites Sand

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this new sand. They say that it is great for chameleons because it is full of calcium and if ingested it won't hurt them at all, in fact it would be beneficial. So I was wondering what anyone else thinks of it. Thanks

Who's they Not sure chameleons practice geophagy. Unless the soil resembles a insect, or is moving. Might be good medium for laying bin. Females could build up calcium intake while back filling the egg chamber.

After reading, I have to agree, not using this as substrate is safer choice.

I had no idea that it could have such bad effects on reptiles! Thanks for that information! I won't be buying any of that for my Panther Chameleon!
