When repotting, how much of the original soil needs to be removed to keep it safe for the chameleon enclosure. I understand the leaves should be washed with soapy water and rinsed well, but not sure how to remove the dirt and treat the roots while repotting. Thank you.
As long as you add some clean fertilizer-free top soil. And some large river rocks on top of the soil, you should be good to go. Obviously if there is evident fertilizers in the soil water it as much as possible to wash them out.
