refusing crickets.......

recently i bought alot of silkworms and my chameleons absolutely loved them!
but the only bad thing is that most of them refuse to eat any crickets now... so i was forced to get some more, also would silkworms be a good staple feeder for them? because ive tried many things to get them to try and eat there crickets but they just refuse em now

how old is he? In general if you let them go without any food for 2-3 days he will take the crickets after that

well one is a female veiled and shes about 5-6 months and the other is a male sambava and hes about a year and a half

I would try not feeding for a couple days as suggested. Silkworms are okay to feed lots of, but nothing is good as a staple IMHO. want to keep them interested in as many types of feeders as possible.

yeah thats what i do. but i kept crickets as the main source, i feed the female everyday and i feed my sambava every other

I hope your chams want to take crickets again because my friend cham, only eat locust. The cham was around 2-3 weeks without eating the fresh crickets my friend was giving him until he saw a locust again...the cham almost die. It is a problem, because locust is expensive and hard to keep alive.
