Red sack while pooping?

My Panther chameleon has a red sack that comes out a little only when he poops. It is not hanging out when he is not pooping though and was wondering if it's normal or is it a start to a problem. It just started today

What are you feeding him? If he's straining to poop it could be an early sign of a partial prolapse. If he's getting a lot of harder shelled feeders and is a little dehydrated this can make it harder for things to pass. If you can give him some softer bodied feeders for a while see if this helps.
The other possibility is that he's showing his hemipenes slightly. How old is he? Again, if he's straining, he needs more moisture.

I feed him mostly crickets and sometimes meal worms. I most the cage at least four times a day and keep it pretty humid enough and have a dripper running through the day. He hasn't been eating crickets today or yesterday. Since it's not hanging out yet can it fix itself before its too late?

That is perfectly normal when he flash his family jewel while he is pooping,gutload all ur feeders so he can poop out smoothly without dangling his joystick,then you will have another thing coming,manhood 101.

Mealworms are high in chitin and can make it hard for your chameleon to digest. As Carlton mentioned, you should introduce some soft bodied feeders to help balance out the crickets and mealworms you've been feeding him. Silkworms, hornworms, phoenix worms, and butterworms are all good soft bodied feeders.
