My friend has a female veiled chameleon who is about 3-4 months old. About a month ago she stopped eating, was lethargic, and kept her eyes shut. We determined it was a respiratory infection and started her on antibiotics. During this time we fed her by hand with thin apple slices and meal worms. She was fine after about 5 days of medicine, but got an eye infection soon after. So we were still feeding her by hand.. they eye infection is gone now, and she's very active and healthy now. However, we have not seen her hunt since she has recovered. Is it possible she got used to being hand fed, and now she will only eat this way? We fed her by hand for about a month.
