receptive to gravid colours

My veiled chameleon was mated today and he was on her for ten minutes+ so i left her in there cause she didn't go gravid colours. i have just notice that she is now hissing and gaping at him but not in gravid colours. how long does it take her to change to gravid colours? Is she gravid and is this one mating enough?

If she doesn't want him any more then she is gravid. The coloring may change later, may not. Mine do whatever they want to. The main thing is the gaping. She has had enough!

should i get ready for eggs cause he mated her earlier even though she gapped

You should always be ready for eggs if you have a female. Doesn't matter if she mated or not. I mated a girl after holding her back, and it was too late. She laid infertile eggs anyway. If you are planning on mating and having eggs it is best to mate as soon as she is receptive.

i did mate as soon as she was receptive but he had a sperm plug so i don't think any sperm got in
