Receptive - First Time help please!

When female chams become sexually mature, do they show receptive colouring before they cycle their first clutch of infertiles? I know that joeandsoph have a female around 6 months old too, so this info will be useful for both of us!

They should show receptive coloring at some point before laying the eggs, but they may also show non-receptive as they get further along in the egg production to indicate that its too late to mate.

Doesn't yours have the mustardy blotches and the torquoise/bluish spots (receptive colors) now?

Yes she does - she has had her adult colours for just over a week now. When I posted pics as her colours started to show, I was told that she did not look receptive. Here's a link to the pics I took of her today https://www.chameleonforums.com/pretty-female-30801/ Does this mean that she'll cycle a clutch soon then? Lily had her colouring when I got her at 6 months old but she didn't lay her first clutch until she was 14 months old.

Camille stays colorful just about all the time. If you are keeping her cool and not over feeding she should be fine but you could put in a laying bin just so you'll feel better.
