Does a female veiled always show receptive colours?

She will show receptive colors when she is ready to breed and sometimes for a short period after thay lay eggs.

As Lance said, she will show receptive colors when ready to breed. Keep in mind that temps and food intake can take a large part in that. If her food intake and temps are on the high end, she will show receptive colors more often.
