Your Chameleon - Female, Nosy be ~ 11mo, had her for 8mo
Handling - maybe once every 2 weeks
Feeding - staple diet are gutloaded crickets, occassionally some mealworms, prob about 6-8 crickets every other day around 9am. For gutloading i use mustard green, collard greens, apples bananas, apples, carrots all in a mix.
Supplements - Every feeding I use a calcium powder, no d3, and about 2 a mo i use a multi with d3.?
Watering - Have a mist king that goes off throughout the day at 30-120 secs. I do see them drink.
Fecal Description - Usually Dark brown with whitish urate, somtimes can have glossy film over it. (one time I have seen feces was very runny in past week)
History -
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Screen cage, large 36X18X18
Lighting - reptisun, 5.0 uvb, tube lights are on from 6:30am-530pm
Temperature - cage at bottom ~67 basking ~ 87F. lowest 62f
Humidity - humidity ~ 45-55%, have cool mist humidifier and mist king
Plants - I use a golden pathos, and umbrella tree
Placement - top of cage is ~6.5 ft off ground

Current Problem: She has not eaten in about a week now, very stationary (does not move around cage often (not restless), has not had staple pooping regimes only have seen 2 in last week. As you can see from the photos below she is very plump, and from time to time displays very dark/ pink orange colors (receptive colors). The fact that she is not eating or pooping and being really chubby gets me thinking she is about ready to lay, but her physical mannerisms just dont add up ( not roaming the cage for place to lay (restlessness).... So I am very perplex. Even tho I still moved her to the nesting can yesterday, and still very little movement from her. She has never been mated so this clutch (if there is one?) will be infertile.. PLEASE PLACE YOUR OPTions

SHe does look a bit round.

Not all feamles roam when they need to lay.

Mine didnt.

I would put the lay bucket in her cage instead, so she can go to it when shes ready.

One of the ways I determine what is going on with my chams is tracking their weight. I mated my quads 2 weeks ago. The first week my female gained 5 grams (the little pig) this week she gained 2 grams.

If you have any prior weight info I would compare then to now. Otherwise, I would get ready for infertile eggs. Give her a laying bin and dig a sample hole in the sand/dirt for her. Give her complete isolation. Do not even let her see you looking in on her.

No Laurie I unfortunately do not have any prior measurements. Laurie do you agree with what camimom said about moving her back to her 'real' enclosure, and out of her laying bin enclosure? As of right now I have an 11X11X8'' flower pot in her "real" enclosure, with a mix of sand and potting soil as the substrate and an umbrella tree taking up maybe 1/2 of pot. Do you guys feel that this is an adequate laying bin? Also is there any idea of how far along she is? she hasnt eaten in a week!!! and very lazy!

So its going on two weeks that my female hasn't eaten, How long can females go without eating? she has not pooped at all in about a week, the last poop i saw was running. please let me know what you think
