I have, just to make sure he drinks on days I go to school. You need to make sure there is no bacteria though, and don't leave it in the cage as they'll view it a toilet.

You just have to jiggle the cup a little so the water moves, they rarely drink standing water. I'll tip it towards them so the surface tension holds it on the rim.

About 14 years ago, when I had my first Veild, and ignorant. I put a silk plant in a waterfall system in his cage. He learned to drink the water out of the water fall, by drinking the water off the silk leaves in the water. Now I know bacteria is an issue, and this practice is not endorsed now, but it worked back then.
