looks good. For better monitoring, you need thermometer and hygrometer not only for basking spot, but also the ambient temp (so you can measure max and min temp).

Most excellent example of a cage setup! Just make sure the plant is good and washed and that the dirt is either covered or organic! When are you getting you new baby and from where?

YuP i have one of those temp guns, but my for humidity doesnt really work. After i do my misting for 2-3 minutes it doesnt even go up or down. Is it the device or am i doing something wrong?

Looks like you are ready to me, just make sure your temps are in a good range, I ran my set up for a few days to be sure temps were stable. humidity you will battle with but if you keep up on the misting you should be fine. I use a fluker digital and i simply moved it around to see what the gradient was like. Keep up the good work.

looks great i like to keep my plant elevated to keep my cage a big cleaner but the saucer you have will work fine should you choose not to

I would suggest more branches in the upper region of the cage. This will give your chameleon multiple temperatures at which to get comfortable at, keeps your chameleon off of the screen and should make hunting easier. Crickets are like chameleons in that they need outside heat to regulate their temperature, so they will travel to the top in which case your chameleon will have easy paths to there food.

I agree with dankmeleon in keeping the plant a little more elevated for the time being. This will give them a little more security sense they will spend most of the time at the top.
