Re-doing enclosure

I have decided to add live plants to my Veiled's enclosure. I kinda went a little crazy at the garden center and came home with a nice Hoya, a beautiful Fuchsia, and a variegated Ficus. Only problem is I think I may have gotten a ficus that is to big for my girls enclosure. I have been reading quite a lot of posts on this forum and I find the idea of Free Ranging very appealing. I just want to make sure that it would be ok to do on a part time basis. I work from 6am-3pm and I go to school at night two days a week. I don't feel comfortable leaving her out when I'm not home. Is it something I can do every once in a while when I'm home and can keep an eye on her. I went back to my local pet store where I purchased her and the owner told me she was aprox. one month old. She is so tiny... I was hoping it would be ok for me to put the ficus beside her enclosure and let her out when I'm home.

Also, is putting two hanging plants in her cage over kill? She is in a 17
6x16x36" all screen cage with a nice(what looks like sanded grapevine) "tree" that is as tall as the enclosure. I have fake vines but wanted to add some color and more cover and I figured live plants will help in keeping up the humidity level

Sorry for such a long post but I only want to do whats best for the newest member of my family..

Seems like a good decision to me. Veiled will love the foliage and humidity :) Possibly she will get a good snack out of the live plants :p
