re did the enclosure

I know the first thing is people are going to say ditch the analog themometer and hygrometer. I had those exact ones, bought my digital and I can tell you the themometer was off by like alot! bout 10 degress and the hygrometer was a joke. You can buy digital one at home depot for like 15 bucks.
Another thing people are going to say more foliage, I have pothos and they grow like crazy so those will bush up quickly.

I think it looks great! I don't know what the other setup was like... but this one seems good. If you have a young cham going into the cage it should be just fine. Maybe buy a smaller ficus from HD that is in the $5 range.... one in a 4" pot... Then trim it so it is kinda thin.... give the little guy some vertical climbing and shade.

That is a nice setup for a juvi to subadult cham. Pothos are great and almost impossible to kill.

I have a digital...just needs new battery. I went to home depot last night and they don't have any plant left that can be used for a chameleon. I have more pothos I can add. Have a bonsia looking scfelerra (sp?) but its way to big.

How did you get the thermometers attached to the screen sides?
I'm just setting up my first cham cage

you should know as mentioned above that those analog ones that are in the picture SHOULD NOT be used, as they are very inaccurate.

you want one like this

you also want a digital hygrometer to measure humidity.
I highly suggest you search this forum and read as much as possible before purchasing a chameleon.

it looks really good but i would but a schleffara in the back for more cover and vertical climbing if you can find one

if you cant try staking up some pothos on a stick and use zip ties :)
