Raising humidity in screen cage

I have a baby veiled chameleon having trouble raising the humidity. I have a driper and I mist with a spray bottle 3 times a day any suggestions ??

I strongly suggest purchasing a cool mist humidifier. I had the same problem and raising the humidity of my entire room was a great solution. Check out this thread so you know exactly what to get. There are a few diff types of humidifiers and some won't work.

And welcome to the forum btw! You've come to the right place. Mostly everyone here gives spot on advice and tips that are hard to find elsewhere.

Thank you what about a mist king that is who I bought my cage from, I have him aka (Pierre) my girlfriend named him in my room I just was looking at the mist king but humidifiers a good idea also

Get a ultra sonic humidifier. From Walgreens. Probably forty bucks. Then get a fan. The humidifier alone will get mist on the floor. The fan disperses it. A hygrometer will help u calibrate the setting on the humidifier. Twelve bucks. Avoid drafts. Modify your AC vents by purchasing a vent deflector at Lowes. Five bucks. Its a deflector w magnets that stick to the vent cover. Super easy.

A mist king would also be great. You can use both. In fact, they are really two separate tools. The mist king will help with humidity, but will also provide water droplets for your cham to drink, clean his eyes out in, and provide moisture for plants. The humidifier can be used to raise the relative humidity (RH) of the room your enclosure is in. But wouldn't be considered a water source for your habitat.

spray for longer periods of time.
keep the dripper going all day
cover the back and sides of the screen with plastic or dont use a screen cage
use live plants (in the cage and in the room)
increase the humidity of the room (fish tank, humidifier etc)

Here's a thing. The humidifier wont work with out the fan. Humidity over sixty percent will wreck ur electronics. I think the humgidity is supposed to drop at night along w the temp.

I could not raise humidity. Then one day I tried a sonic humidifier. Still at forty percent. Humidity landing on the floor. Then one day I added the fan. Voila 70 percent instant rainforest

Ok cool so you have the humidifier setup outside the screen cage? Also the fan setup outside blowing into the screen cage
