Raising Chameleon food

I have no experience in this. I have always bought live food from petco So I might want to try this time in raisng my own. What are the easiest, healthiest (for Cham) and how much room do you have to have to do it? Is it easy or very hard? What kind of containers do you use? I only will have 1cham. So I don't need a big colony, but I do also have red eyed frogs, that will benefit also. Any pictures of set ups or good sites would be appreciated. Should be getting my Cham later this week or next, ya

Probly the easiest is dubi roaches, they don't climb glass or plastic, don't smell and breed very easy

Sounds like what I need. Except, I own and live in a 3 flat apartment building. Roaches are one thing you don't want in your building when your trying to rent out apartments I had mentioned them to the hubby already. We have a cricket problem/escape (frogs food) and thought he would like the roach idea better, for the reasons you mentioned. Lets just say he was not impressed
Any good sites on how to do it? Housing, food, water, heat, etc? Maybe if they can't escape, he will be happier about it

Search it on youtube. There's some really good examples on how to set up a colony. Dubia Roaches are truly the best option for feeder insects. Don't worry a bout them infesting you apartment. They don't climb or fly, so it's hard for them to get out, and they won't breed at room temperature.

Thanks, I will. The biggest problem I'm having is convincing the hubby that they won't invade the apartment.
