yea those are definitely definitely burns.

How close is his basking lamp to the top of his cage?

What are his basking temps?
Any chance you can post some photos of his set up?

Yes I am thinking after reading the I go on forums your right but I am positing his basking temp at about 76-77 but light is on top of cage he has grown so much was not accounting for his new size I cleaned with water and gauze gently but it hurts him tonight I added polysporn and the silver sulfadiazine he seems happier

th silver sulfadine cream will help a lot with the burns.

what do you use to measure the basking temps?

Rainys burn

how do I clean the area, the silverdine builds up? and is the yellow infection or healing..???

So the thermometer is in the center of the cage and not the basking spot ? That probably isn't the best measure of the actual basking spot temp... As the ssd cream builds up you can use a q tip to roll off the excess.. that is a serious burn and a vet would help

In previous threads you said he wasn't eating well and his liver levels were off. If his cage/basking temperatures were too low it could have been playing part in his lack of appetite and that might have affected his liver levels. Not a vet....so this is just my best guess.

However, there must have been quite a bit of heat somewhere if he got a burn....so did you change the position of the light sometime between the not eating and the burn?
