you will want some sort of bin to catch all the excess water, some people drill holes in the bottoms of their cages and place it over a bin, or you could put a substrate tray inside the cage as long as you put some sort of mesh over it so your cham doesnt drown on accident if it falls into it. I still dont know how I am going to set up my drainage system when I get my big cage and a auto-water system (also havent made up my mind on the system either >.<)
although theoretically with the proper amount of plant ratio you could have very little excess water and a good source of humidity with the rain system
