Radiation contamination?

I've always wondered....If a chameleon is x-rayed while gravid, is there a risk of radiation contamination to the babies/eggs? I know humans are never supposed to have x-rays while pregnant, so is it harmful to reptiles as well?

Nah, such a small dose of radiation has not been shown to be harmful. We x-ray pregnant dogs and cats all the time.

its not as though an extensive study has been effectively raised on the topic. certainly you have all sorts of publications on how an over abundance of "x-rays" may effect a human. on the other hand you have no idea how it may effect your reptile. why? the studys dont exist. Why? becuase people dont fund shtuff that wont make them money.
