Hello,
I had a male ambilobe since march 2012 and he passed away over a week ago. He was doing great eating crickets and then stopped got him to eat superworms only thing he would eat no dubia or crickets. Then he stopped eating period and loss a lot of weight. Took to vet found he had MBD and got shots of calcium and was on a repta boost diet. Then over few months of time after that he died.
I miss him so much was my favorite Cham and so gentle. Was like a child to me and pray to him to help his sisters there currently not doing well.
So many tears when I notice something that reminds me of him. I wish I could get another exactly like him but not sure yet til I get his sisters better. I just miss him so much.
Will always be with me in my heart and when I feel down recently a lot I look at photos on my phone. All I can do and have faith that am not a Cham owner failure. I will attach a photo of him

First I want to say my condolences for your loss. Now I don't want to sound mean but was wondering how your chameleon got in that condition?. You mention you have others that are not doing so well either. Do they have MBD also? Do you have the proper UVB lighting for them and do you supplement your feeders with calcium? These are the things that usually cause MBD(lack of these things)

Thank you I appreciate it and don't consider that mean. With the way there body's and limbs look I think MBD is happening. From experience with razor I had with MBD. Yes I use calcium without d3 every feeding and herpivite once a month same as with d3 and brand is repcal. I use reptisun 10 because don't think they benefit from the reptisun 5 with the fine mesh. With the past year I had these three only mistake I know of is not replaceing the UVB every 6 months.

yes that is severe MBD and also severe dehydration. How do you provide water for the chameleons that you have? As you know by now the lights need changing ever 6 months or so, so that could be the problem that there was no uvb provided if the bulbs were too old. Can you post pics of your other chameleons? If they have MBD you need to get them some calcium injections to help them out. What about a multivitamin and also, do you gutload your feeders? If so, with what? Edit, sorry I see you use a multi.

I only mist them 3-6 times a day. I use a humidifier by them. Yes I sure can of my girls. I gut load with a flukers high calcium cricket diet I add collard greens oats and whole grain bread.
