Love that first pic! Just the essence of the species. If I ever felt more confident in my regional vet options I would love keeping them. Just not practical when I'd have to send a sick one to Seattle.

I could not agree more regarding the first pic. They are just like that. Very settled and like being inside of the bushes or plants that people offer them.
In the wild, they stay quite a few feet high despite the belief they stay more in lower distance from the ground.
I try to give them the closest experience to the wild that I can.
It is a very small project as you most know they are endangered and I do not want to contribute to the exports. So we are working with the bloodlines that are available in Europe.
Having said that, I think they are amazing and hope they carry on being well on my care.
