R. acuminatus juvies

A friend visited with a much better camera than the one I own. We took the opportunity to capture some close ups of my R. acuminatus.

When you zoom in on these animals, they look absolutely hilarious.

I am posting one image of the female, and three of the male. The male had just finished shedding, and before he shed, his "nose" was not as long as it is post-shed. He shed and "pop"--his nose was larger. Amazing.

That nose is soft and flexible.

Wow they are super neat. Question, do you have really big hands or are the chams that tiny? They look like nothing on your finger tips, how cute it that.:)

I'm a guy with a modest build and normal hands. So the chams are truly tiny. These juvies are WC and with their last sheds are just now showing adult features (big noses and pokey things above their eyes).

Right now, the male is about 1.75 inches long when he stretches out. An adult male can be just over 3 inches.
