Just wondering if anyone else finds overuse or unnessesary use of quotes annoying?

Examples:

In posts~

1. You made the last post in the thread and the very next poster who is replying directly to you, still quotes you! wtf?

ok, sometimes its nessesary to make clear exactly who/what your replying
but not if your text makes it abundantly clear

2. Somebody makes a post with a series of large page stretching pics, then 4 or 5 others quote the lot, pics and all.

whats wrong with cut n pasting Just the text?

IN posts or Pms~

* Multiple quotes within quotes, when only the last text is being replied.

EX.

these are best

I use the other

I paid too much

I hate that store

She said that...

my dripper system...

Some text bla bla

oh yes i agree bla bla

yes
but then again etc etc..

no
but then again etc etc..

I don't know if people realize that you can delete whatever you want out of the quote as long as you leave the markers for the quote at the begining and end. So... they just keeep reposting all the large photos and previous quote inside quotes.

Yep! Red marker on a white board is HELL on my eyes.
