I've read that chameleons have different personalities, much like every other living creature. I'm getting the feeling that my Rorschach and i are on two different pages on one key topic - i eat too much food, and he doesn't really care for it! Haha
A while ago i was worried, but i have concluded that it is just his personality. He seems healthy - proper poo, good hydration, carefully monitored temps - he just kind of chills (literally lounging sometimes with his back foot dangling from the vine like a hammock), strolls around a bit, but only eats every so often...like a couple bugs ever 1-3 days. I offer a decent variety of crickets, reptiworms, superworms, hornworms, butterworms occasionally, and silkworms which i gave up on when they kept dying. I've even tried not feeding him for a few days... Didn't make much of a difference!
Does anyone else have a cham like this? If so, how do you make sure they get all the proper nutrients - out of all the feeders, Rory really doesn't like his gutloaded crickets, and i guess the other feeders i have require their own food.
I love my laid back little guy! Though not having a "textbook" cham makes it difficult for a first-timer!
