Yes, give him a few days to settle in and he will start to eat. Just take out the crix he doesn't eat before lights out. And of course water!

Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - 2-3 month old male veiled
Handling - only held him once to put him in his baby cage
Feeding - offering 15 small crickets a day in a cup. I gut load with cantaloupe potato and romain lettus.
Supplements - I use zoomed repti calcium w/o d3, repcal herptivite multi-vitamin and repcal calcium with d3
Watering - I mist twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening. And I leave a dripped running all day. I still haven't seen him drink
Fecal Description - haven't found any yet
History - i've had him since last friday
Cage Info:
Cage Type - he's In a 16x16x30day screen enclosure
Lighting - lights come on at 7 and go out at 8 and I use exo-terra 5.0 cfls ( I know I need to switch to tubes )
Temperature - right now its at 72.2 at the bottom 84.7 in the basking spot with a drop to about 64 to 65 degrees f at night and o use 2 digital probe thermometers
Humidity - humidity stays around 50% with spikes after misting
Plants - no live ones yet
Placement - at the foot pf my bed with the top pf the cage about 4 1/2 feet from the floor
Location - in lovely layton utah
Current Problem - I haven't seen little Cletus eat drink or found any of his poop yet

Everything looks good assuming you are not blowing that fan in the photo on him! And you know to supplement the calcium w/o d3 at every feeding, with d3, twice a month and multi once or twice a month. You already know to change the bulb. You may want to mist 3 to 4 times for a few minutes each time. I found spending time misting them with very fine warm mistings, mist for a few min, walk away and come back and do it again usually eventually will stimulate them to drink. In my experience even the ones that didn't like it learn to luv it lol. But each Cham has it's own likings and dislikings, spend time finding what works for you. I also fed small wax worms and horn worms, making sure theyvare not too big for them also can aid in helping them eat, but it can take some time for them to adjust. FYI.. Sometimes poop can hide better than they can! when you say Friday, do you mean 4 days ago or the Friday before? You may also want to add some horizontal branches on top

Wax worms are very high in fat and I almost never offer them. But I did find it useful getting a new chameleon to eat who wasn't eating much, that is how we bonded also, as soon as I got her to luv me I stopped offering them and she ate out of my hand (healthier choices) that was my evil plan lol. Hornworms would be my first choice (small if you have a young one)
It seems like you spent a good time doing your homework
I am sure it will pay off. four days is not along time, it takes them time to adjust, no worries

I actually do both. I have some that cup feed and some that won't. It is more sanitary to keep the feeders in a cup, but I free range the ones that refuse a cup. IMO it is best to try not to keep a lot of crickets free ranging at night, they can bite your little one while he is sleeping. And four days is not that long. I would try a few small colorful worms in a cup to entice, and walk away a bit and watch from a distance, some can be a bit shy. Make sure your crickets and feeders are not too big ( general rule of thumb, no bigger than the distance between the eyes )

Horizontal. You don't want the cricket to be longer than the space between the eyes. Is your chameleons eyes open and he is active and alert? How big are your crickets compared to the eye space? And make sure you get that reptisun tube light asap. I would replace that tomorrow. Can you post a pic of your chameleon?

I bought small crickets at the biggest one should fit between his eyes easily. He seems to be fine his eyes are open and moving around like crazy and they arent sunken in at all so he must be drinking. Im gonna try letting a few crickets loose and leave some in a cup tomorrow and see what happens. Hopefully he'll eat.
