Do chameleons benefit at all from sunlight coming through a window? I always thought the glass filtered out anything beneficial but I thought id see what some of you guys think.

Any bit of sunlight helps, whether its through a glass or screen.

They might enjoy the heat, but it really doesn't have any benefits coming through a window because all of the UV rays are filtered out....

just open the window.
Then your cham will definitely be a happy cham.
yes, glass do filter out UVB.

Yeah I wont be opening any windows near him anytime soon. It gets plenty warm in the summer here and he will be outside alot then. Ive got a suctioncup plant that I stick to the window so he can get in the sun which he seems to like even though its not doing anything for him as far as uvb.
