quick question on sexing

I would wait ATLEAST a year. Im sure it CAN be done sooner but someone correct me if im wrong i heard between 12-15months or something?

depends on them.

typically around 3 months old, panthers are fairly obvious. some take a bit longer to develop then others.

Panthers can be sexed with a very high degree of accuracy around the 3 to 5 month range. When the males start getting their colors, it is very easy to tell.

i was just wonderin because there is person selling her babies, but they arent even showing colors yet and they are appearently 4 months old but they are SUPER small and look like they are around ten weeks if that. it just strikes me odd that she is able to sex them now....?

how old do the panther chameleons have to be in order to sex them properly?

Hatched. The way the tail tapers to the vent is different, even in one day old hatchlings. The difference is minor, but, with experience hatchlings can be sexed with near 100% accuracy.

It helps when you have a bunch of them together and you've done it a few times. You tend to notice differences when you have a lot to compare.
