quick question about eggs.

My pygmy laid eggs yesterday. I was wondering should i let them try and incubate in the tank or should I get an incubator?

If I was to get an incubator it would take a couple of days to get here. Could the eggs still be taken out or should they stay since they would have been there for a couple of days.

Thanks for the advice !

No need for an incubator. Necas says no lower than 64 or higher than 77 for incubation temps, which is room temp in most households. Staying more in the 75 degree range had a shorter incubation time (40-50 days) than staying at lower temps like 65 (90+ days). I used a sealed tupperware sandwich container (no air holes) with moist vermiculite and just kept it in a cabinet and mine took 84 days to hatch.

You can try just leaving them in the tank because the tank conditions should be ideal for eggs too if you have it set up right for the adults. If you do remove them be sure not to turn or roll them if at all possible because the yolk can crush the tiny embryo if turned. (Although 2 of mine rolled on accident and they still hatched - just be careful!)
