Queston about fake plants!!

okay so i have 2 veild's...seperate cages.

For the past 6 months they have had a live ficus in both their tanks..... They love to eat the ficus which has ended up killing the plants, plus i didnt have alot of natural sun-light for the ficus so they kinda died anyway!!

- So i'v decided to put fake plants into their tanks...

im just afraid they might attempt to eat the fake plants...

i will put real greens in their tank like cabbage and collard greens and stuff of that sort, but im afraid they might eat the fake plants...

anyone have an opinion on this??

Fake plants for fake chameleons especially chameleons that eat plant matter don't wait until something bad happens.

How could they eat fake plants? They are either silk or plastic...neither of which are found in nature. They also do not provide some of the things they need like humidity and food. Bite the bullet and provide real plants for them. Even if they eat them it's what they need. I use silk plants for some cover but the majority are real. Stick with real. It's what they need.

I use fake and real plants as well.. Try pothos! Do a mix but don't do ALL FAKE PLANTS.. its just unreal..
