So, I got a new established WC flapneck chameleon on Sunday. Im letting him settle in but he has yet to take to any food I've offered. I know its not uncommon but I thought he should atleast eat a little something. Also I cant stick my hand in his cage without him flipping. He turns brown, and hisses... LOUD. Im afraid he might bite me. Although, when he's outside of his cage, he is fine walking all over me. I wanted to shower him but I dont want to cause him stress. Any help? Thanks!

Moving a Cham into a new area is stress for them he could just not be adjusted to his new home and that's why he's not eating. As to why its hissing?? It's just stress out I'm sure but I'm don't no much about the breed.

Yeah Im sure. Im just hoping its nothing Im doing wrong. Ill give him a week to adjust. I tried offering meal worms, Ill try crickets next.
