Okay, so I am getting my baby Ambilobe on Tuesday!! He is adorable! But just to be 100000000% sure that everything is PERFECT I was wondering what a good supplementation schedule is for a 2monthold ambilobe??

Here's what I did with Pascal:

1. Calcium no D3 daily
2. Calcium with D3 2x per month
3. Multivitamin 2x per month

Lighting schedule (still Pascal!):
On at 9 off at 9

Basking bulb 75W
UVB reptisun 5.0 Linear bulb
Feeding schedule (Pascal):
As many crickets and worms as he can eat in 5-10 minutes 2x per day

Misting schedule (Pascal again haha):
4x daily for 5 minutes.

Temps (still Pascal):

basking at about 90
ambient around 77-75
lowest overnight 65

I think thats everything :D

What needs to be different for a Panther?

Panther and veiled are looked after very similarly. As Jackp308 says 90 is a bit high for a baby. I would suggest around 85. Look forward to seeing pics.:)

I am so excited for you! Can't wait to see pics!

I can't offer much advice, since I'm a noob. My baby is only 4 weeks old(I've had him a week). Just wanted to wish you luck on your new baby! I think you will do fine.....you were an awesome Mommy to Pascal!

Sorry cant agree with this. For a growing baby he needs calcium without d3 more than once a week!

That's what I thought. I was thinking every day... or at least every other day.. I don't have him yet, so it's good to hear all of this now.

And I thought misting was supposed to be 3-4 times a day for 3-5minutes?? Thats what I did with my veiled.

I would stick to a misting system that suits your set up and works for you.:)

Mistking
Basic model or aquazamp Definately worth the $100 or so and a good hand pump mister always good to have.

Can beat going somewhere knowing they will be sprayed and every so often as they come with timers.

Have any of you used the Habba system? I ask because it is at my local petstore, and if it is good will save on shipping:)

I use rapashy calicum plus every day. and Rapashy Vit A once a month. on well gutloaded crickets. Concentrating on gutloading has been a key factor for me

I have repcal calcium w/o D3, repcal calcium with D3, and repcal multivite.

I also gutload with bugburger, and kale, collard and mustard greens, and grapes and strawberries, and oatmeal or crackers to give them something to munch on.

Will changing brands of calcium hurt him?? if not is it okay to use what i have until i'm out? i just bought it last month so I have a crapton left.

Your brands are fine. Do the twice a month for both D3 and multi vitamins and calcium without D3 almost every feeding.
