questions about mist systems

So I recently got my first chameleon and he has grabbed my heart with his sticky pink tongue... Naturally I want to provide the very best I can for my dude. However he hates being misted... maybe I am not doing it right, but it got me thinking about mist systems. That way he can also get some misting action in the evening when I go to work. I do have some concerns however.

First of all how much mist is a mist system going to be making? Is it safe to have around electronics? Should I relocate power strips (hanging below tank)? It is also close to my computer, should I relocate that?

Mist king seems to be a popular choice, are there any others that would be recommended?

Would it be worthwhile to pursue DIY? Are there any write-ups already for DIY misters?

MistKing and AquaZamp are both sponsors. There are probably some good DIY alternatives, but I'm not sure if you would end up saving much money.

What kind of hand sprayer are you using? Until you can get an automated system I strongly recommend a pressurized spray bottle. Check out the thread below.

I picked up a pressurized spray bottle from home depot this morning and WOW! It works so well. I was surprised by how long it would spray with just a few pumps.

A good choice is to get one of those little box things that u put un the corner of the enclosure. Ut gets hooked up to a water source and pumps humidity into the air.
