Question

Yes, it isn't typical but it's just a show of what colors they can have at that age. I got this little guy from Lance Lindgren in november and took this pic a week after I got him. Lance said he was just over 3 months at the time. There is also a pic of a 3 month old male that I got from screameleons in my gallery that has a ton of color for his age also. Both of these little guys were my first chams that I had from a very young age so I figured it was normal but have learned since then with others I have gotten that it isn't exactly normal. But like I said it can happen. I'll have to post pics of these two little guys now. They are 5 and 6 months old and are outstandingly colorful and huge. Thanks for the complement on him though. I took him out of the box thinking he was going to be a little grey blob and he was a nice light shade of red with baby blue bars.

EDIT: I'd say female but it's hard to tell sometimes. If you have a couple pics of the coloration and such that would help, but looks female to me but I am no expert by any means with babies. lol.

ChamOh, like I said he is very exceptional. He started his head bobbing at females at just under 5 months with beautiful displays varying from a full red body with blue bars to a yellow and orange body with orange and red bars, I'll post and update on my little guys tomorrow in the gen photo section to show you what I mean. He's from lance's full red body blue bar breeder in his photo album. The father is the deepest red with amazing navy bars. Hopefully the little guy gets colors even close to that.

Alright so this morning we put kangs light on at 8:30 like normal put in her food and she didn’t seem very interested a few minutes ago I looked into the cage and she had one eye closed and one eye open. As soon as she saw me looking in at her she opened the closed eye and starter looking around and moving again.

Is this anything to worry about?

Her humidity is now at 60% and the temp is at 82. Thanks.

Don't know if the one eye thing is normal but my baby was doing the exact same thing a week ago. It would be basking or whatever and be sitting there with one eye open and one eye closed and as soon as it saw me both eyes would open. It quit doing it though so I don't know what the cause was. I was wondering if it was just a baby thing like other baby lizards I have seen. I contacted my breeder and he said if it was Vit A defiecency that both eyes would be closed.
