Question

Looks to be iguana-like. Very interested and funny that it is called a common chameleon.

No idea, but not a chameleonidae, its an agamidae. 'chameleon' is being used generically for 'lizard'. There are a heck of alot of species.
Intrestingly, chameleons are thought to have evolved from Agamids.

My guess: Male Calotes Versicolor

That seems like a valid guess to me.
Thanks Jojackson.
I need to know the scientific name for that one to explain to people about how those lizard are not the old world chameleon.

Intrestingly also, Calotes Versicolor apparently share with true chameleons, the independantly moving eyes. :)
There are some differing anatomy though, note the dorsal spines, while this dosent rule it out (original could be a younger animal)
Its difficult to tell in the original if the tympanum is covered or merely in shadow.
Some different shots of Calotes Versicolor ...
