Question on Gravid Female Veiled

My female veiled chameleon laid her first clutch of eggs on December 14th. Since then, she has plumped back up and looks terrific again (her happy greens/blues). While I will probably not mate her again for another year, I was just wondering how long it takes until she likes boys again? If she catches a glimpse of the male while riding around on my shoulder, she turns her black gravid colors and absolutely hates him! Is this normal, or is this because she will probably lay another clutch in a few weeks?

She was mated right? If she was mated then she will probably lay a retained clutch, which may very well be fertile, in about three months from the first clutch. She could go receptive anytime I think each female is different on the time frame but I would recommend give her a nice long break and not mating her again for awhile.

Ok great, that is what I figured is that she was retaining a clutch. I don't know if I will mate her again or not yet, but if I do it will be a long while from now! Thanks, Jann!
