What is the difference between a Leucistic and a hypo dragon?? Are they two totally different recessive genes? So if you bred a hypo to a leucistic what would you get...?

I personally have not got a clue but my partner says that the leucistic ones have reduced pigmentation (very pale) and the others are total albinos. I really did not understand the rest of his explanation though sorry. He did say that neither one is dominant so if you breed them there is an equal chance of getting either type. Oh and yes they are different recessive genes
