Question about Shedding

So my little guy (panther) is about 4 months old he had his first shed with me about 3 weeks ago, it took about 2 days for him to fully shed and he was very distressed during. I sprayed him and his cage with warmish water and that seemed to help and he loved it! After he shed he started eating LOADS like 20 medium crickets per day. About 5 days ago he seemed to loose his appitite and his skin started to look wrinkly as it did before he started shed. He's also not been in a good mood like usual but non of his skin is shedding yet... Is this normal? Or is there something I can do?

Thank u in advance for the help :)

If there has been a growth spurt recently, it is not unheard of for chams to shed more often. Also, not uncommon for them to loose appetite and be irritable prior to a shed. If there has been no major growth, I believe shedding too often can be a sign of health issues, such as mites.

Sounds normal, he is probably going to shed this week (its around monthly at that age). The skin will look greyish and alittle clear right before the shed, then poof:)

Ok, so he has grown LOADS in the last 3 weeks so I'm not worried about the health issue. The thing I'm worried about is he's showing all the signs of shedding apart his skin actually shedding, hehe. Poor little guy!
