Question about Plants

I want to include REAL plants in my veiled chameleons enclosure. Can some of my backyard basket plants be used. I cant get to the store until next week to buy real pothos. I have a really nice tomato plant I could use. Also, some plants I don't know the name of, but can post pictures if that would help.
