question about orange spots

So i have a 6 month old veiled chameleon that was getting alot of purple and black spots so
I took her to the vet thinking she was dying or something lol and the vet says she was healthy so i posted about it on here and found out it was chameleon puberty:D so anyway the last couple of days ive noticed that chamelia has had some orange spots only when she first wakes up and i know they get these when they have eggs so my question is does she have to be developing eggs to display these orange spots or could it just be the chameleon puberty?? I have put sand in her enclosure just to see if she tries to dig but shes not interested.

yea the spots get bright and their background can get dark (almost black)
when they are gravid.

when my female was preggo with fertile eggs, she had a black background with bright blue and orange spots.

when she was gravid with infertile eggs, the green got dark but not black, and the blue and orange was brighter, but not as bright as the first time.

when shes not gravid/receptive- the blues and oranges are duller in color,

Thanks this has helped alot:) im surprised people even answer me anymore the amount of times ive thought chamelia has eggs any she hasent lol im soooo paranoid about her sometimes :) but her background is mostly a mint green colour with her purple/yellow spots sometimes she goes a little darker but never black only black spots, she was stressed the other day and her pattern was beautiful i cant post a pic as im using my phone:( is yours realy grumpy too? Lol.
