Hey guys,
Just wondering if it is 100% neccessary to drill in the nozzels for my new mistking. Im worried ill fray the screen if i do. Any suggestions would be awesome. I was thinking of using wire to hold them in place, should this work?

Well i figured out that problem... next question guys what is the best type of water to use that won't clog up my system with mineral build up?

RO water would be ideal, but I ran just water from my house through one of mine for almost 6 months without issue. As long as your city does not have real hard water, from the tap should be fine

It won't work, the pump is to powerful, they need to be securely fixed down

What did you end up doing, Mr Archer? I just cut a small hole in mine with a box cutter, but I hated having to make a hole in my brand new enclosure! I use straight tap-water too, apparently it's a good idea to run white vinegar through it every few months to get rid of any build-up before problems occur. Apparently places like WalMart sell the RO water cheaply for large amounts, and you can get refills, otherwise there are RO filter things for around US$100, I think...

i bought some screen wedges as well should be here soon and will solve my problem. The pump is that strong eh, it would rip out the wire?

i am gonna try and test it out with these wedges and it secured tightly with strong wire, if that doesn't work, i goes ill be going thru the mesh, trial and error right lol
