question about my eggs

I have four eggs incubating, they are crested gecko eggs, but I cant find any one on any other forums who knows anything about this.. lately my firs two eggs which have been incubating since april 4th, have been turning a brownish/clear color and feel like they have a sticky film over them and they are starting to feel softer than before.. they are in vermiculite and the temps are always around 76 or a bit higher at times and the humidity is always around 80%

if anyone can help that would be great,
thanks

Try www.jbscresties.com, she has some really good info and excellent videos on eggs and general crestie care. It sounds to me like the eggs might not be viable, the crestie eggs I have been incubating since February are still white and firm, though starting to bulge in places. Have you tried candling the eggs with a small torch or similar? That can be a better indication of how viable they are than just looking on the outside. You should be able to see the red veins inside the egg, or a red disc on one side if the egg is still at an early stage.

How long have the male/female cresties been together? Are they both around the same size?

they are both around the same size and the person i bought them from said that they have mated and laid eggs before.. I know they are viable because I can see a baby crestie fetus inside the egg.. i see veins and the shape of the baby as well. Thanks for the link
