Question about making my own dripper

Is it possible to take the nozzle off of my very small dripper made by Flukers and put it on something like a plastic gallon jug? I find myself constantly refilling the tiny one.. and it runs out pretty quickly.

If I can, how would I do this? Can I use super glue to keep the nozzle from dripping out the sides? Thanks!

I run my mistking into my dripper so that every time the mister comes on it adds water to the dripper.. works pretty good.. If you can't remove the nozzle from the flukers you can always get a valve and attach it to whatever you want.. Just be careful of the weight on top of the screen. Water weighs a lot

I wish I had a mist king! Would a starter kit from mist king work with a 24x24x48 cage?

Thanks again.

My Big Dripper came w/ an extra twisty nozel and rubber gaskets. I picked up an container from Walmart and wa la.

I've since made a modification to extend the tube to drip to a better spot.

Where did you purchase your big dripper from? That looks great! I'd like to get a container like that. Do you know if walmart still carries those? It would look a lot better than a gallon milk jug :p

pump sprayer

I have to water mutiple cages and I have a pump up sprayer, make sure it is new and clean, cut the hand held attached to hose and I use line for Ice makers and spliters from air control for fish, and at the end is a head for a sprinkler , misting , everything at lowes, I dont work there but its close, and I have 2 tanks one for each side of the room, fill half full axp a gallon, in a 2 gl. prayer, for air pressure, last almost all day if ajusted right, some trial and errors to get everything right , but is great, and I have and under the sink filter, to clean the water, first, thanks for reading,

I got mine from the local pet shop that I frequent, but the Big Dripper brand is readily available all over the place. They also make a Small Dripper. Here's a listing for a Big Dripper on Amazon.

The clear container I got from Walmart for very cheap. I drilled a small hole to accept the extra nozzle that came w/ the Big Dripper that I have for our outdoor setup up for the warmer months.

I love the sound of what you created. Can you start a thread that includes a bunch of pics of all the details? If possible please send me a link via a private message so I don't miss it. I'm going to dinner w/ the family here in a few. thanks.

My wheels are turning in my head about your custom pump up sprayer that you did. I've thought about doing this w/ my smaller hand help pump sprayer (1/2 gallon size kind of a thing), but I couldn't find any threaded coupler that would connect to the existing small sprayer. So you were able to cut your spray handle off and insert an inline adaptor into the hose? I think i'm making a trip to the depot tonight.

A mist king starter can run up to 10 nozzles I think.. More than enough for your enclosure.. You could probably run 5 of your cages with the mist king starter kit, just order extra nozzles, you'd want two or more in an enclosure your size.
